Energy Efficiency

Lower Cost to Own and more energy to save

JNJ Spas is leading the spa industry in design, quality, and manufacturing of energy-efficient hot tubs and swim spas in China. Every JNJ spa is built in accord with German TUV Süd standard, which combines a number of energy-efficient equipments to save energy and keep you relaxed without worry.

Full Foam Insulation Conserve Heat Inside

JNJSpas has built a cost effective system, using efficient key components to provide you to enjoy lower operating costs. If you have a well insulated, energy efficient JNJSPAS hot tub, it will maintain the set temperature for several hours after the heater is turned off.
JNJSpas use R-10 value full-foam insulated which foam is all completely covered along the shell, the floor, and the cabinet to prevent heat escape, making them be the most energy efficient hot tubs. Overall foam conserves heat and supports spa plumbing. Its benefits are enhanced by the polyurethane foam insulation that surrounds the shell and fills the spa cabinet as well as the floor. Energy efficient hot tubs can maintain non-freezing temperatures during winter months with appropriate covers.

Insulating cover with good insulative qualities

All of our spa covers are to be made a custom-fit and a tight seal to keep heat in and weather out. Each cover features high-density foam core with a high R-value for insulation for maximum heat retention. The cover not only provides for an energy efficient spa, it also keeps the spa water clean longer, reducing maintenance costs.

An energy test report performed by the TUV Süd (Germany)

Tests on energy consumption have been carried out under test conditions. Please find our test finding. JNJSPAS have contracted the German TUV Süd to test spa models Brilliant series under the test conditions: Test temperatures were set to unusual values, such as an ambient temperature of 10±1°C and a spa temperature of 37°C. 2 usages per week, each usage cycle includes 3.5 days. Spa usage was restricted to only 30 min with the any upper cover removed, with operating jet pump for 15 min. The rest of the 3.5 days is keeping warm period with all the covers.

The energy consumption showed a JNJ spa with minimum electric energy consumption of 3.42 kWh/day at 10±1°C ambient and 37°C water temperature. Annual electric consumption is 1638.56 kWh.
